The S.A.F.E. program is a cooperative effort to increase restraint belt compliance through positive rewards. |
Key Components to the SAFE program:
- Student Driven
- Students sign pledge cards monthly with a commitment to wear their seat belts at all times
- Rewards are given for the students performance
- This year, the grand prizes were two brand new Apple Ipad's and Several Apple Ipod Touch's
- Places a safety focus message in the school every month
- Brings law enforcement and youth together in a positive environment
- Brings the whole community together for a common goal
- Saves lives and prevents serious injuries
- Developes new, lifelong safe habits that saves lives at their most dangerous time of their life
